Concept, Couture, Charity: A Fashion Show Fundraiser For The Lupus Foundation of CT

BoConcept along with Stone.Marquez will premier "Concept, Couture, Charity: a Fashion Show Fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation of Connecticut" at BoConcept Milford on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 8pm. The show is an eclectic mix of music, fashion, visual art, and interior design, and aims to heighten community awareness of the autoimmune disease, which affects 1.5 million Americans and nearly 5 million people worldwide.

"Concept, Couture, Charity", will be hosted by global retail furniture chain, BoConcept, and Stone.Marquez, an event planning specialty company focusing on events that help promote social and eco-friendly awareness, marketing new products and companies. Angel Sargent of BoConcept Milford, and Co-owner of Stone.Marquez, designed a unique floor layout for patrons to enjoy a two-story "catwalk" throughout the furniture installations while the models display haute couture and "ready-to-wear" garments by designers and boutiques from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and surrounding areas. Tickets can be purchased at BoConcept Milford, 1581 Boston Post Rd, CT 06460. The ticket price is $20, and donations will be welcomed and greatly appreciated on the evening of the event.
